The draft Presidential Decree "On the Strategy for the Development of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026" was discussed.
The project also includes the development of e-Government, increasing the share of e-Government services to 100% and removal of bureaucracy.
Including:
- Expanding the provision of public services through mobile applications;
- Implementation of the Mobile ID personal identification system in the provision of public services;
- Decrease in bureaucratic processes based on the exchange of information between government agencies and private commercial organizations through the platform of interdepartmental integration of the "Electronic government" system;
- Implement a system of permissions and notifications to ensure the protection of personal information;
- Establish the practice of issuing and exchanging timely factual documents to citizens, as well as providing comprehensive public services without waiting for their submission;
- Simplification of public services for the elderly and people with disabilities, creating conditions for them;
- Optimization of administrative procedures and automation of the management process through digitalization of office work in government agencies within the framework of the "Digital Office" project;
- Abolish the practice of requiring the population to submit documents confirming certain facts by implementing the project “Digital Citizen Passport”;
- Expanding the practice of providing public services to citizens of Uzbekistan abroad;
- It is planned to implement such projects as digitalization of public services and transfer of 20% of them to the private sector.
