The procedure for obtaining a biometric passport for traveling abroad through the SPIGS has been determined
In accordance with the Government's decree of January 5, 2022, the administrative regulations for the provision of public services were approved for submitting an application through the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services to obtain a biometric passport for traveling abroad.
In accordance with the administrative regulations, citizens can apply for a biometric passport to travel abroad in one of several cases:
Contact directly the migration and citizenship departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
Visiting public service centers;
Through the Single portal of interactive government services.
When submitting an application, a questionnaire is filled out. If there are errors in the survey or insufficient availability of documents, in order to eliminate them, the applicant is given five days, otherwise the questionnaire is canceled.
Notification of approval is given within one working day for photography and electronic fingerprinting.
A biometric passport for traveling abroad is issued within ten days.
