The badge "Skillful signalman" and the symbol "Master of his profession" were established.

The badge "Skilled Signalman" is awarded to specialists who make a significant contribution to the development of information technology and communications, the creation of an integrated system for the provision of electronic public services, the introduction of new mechanisms for communication between government agencies and organizations with the public, the modernization of postal services and logistics. With their knowledge, potential and high Civic position, showing an example of professional skill, effectively training young professionals, and having at least 15 years of work experience in this industry.

The badge may also be awarded to persons who aren't citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The badge is solemnly presented by the Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan (or other responsible persons on his behalf) annually on May 7 — on the eve of the professional holiday of communication workers.

Awarded receive a one-time cash prize in the amount of four and a half of the amount of the base calculation or a souvenir.

Each person is awarded a badge and symbol only once.

The symbol "Master of his profession" is awarded to engineers, electricians, cable workers, postmen, operators, courier workers working in the field of information technology and communications, for a worthy contribution to the development of the field with their knowledge and high professional skills, as well as for effective work on training young specialists.

The symbol "Master of his profession" is solemnly awarded by the Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan (or other responsible persons on his behalf) annually on May 7 - on the eve of the professional holiday of communications workers.
