According to the results for 2024, Uzbekistan has climbed to 12th place in the international Open Data Inventory (ODIN) ranking among 198 countries, with 83 points, maintaining its leading position in Central Asia.
For reference, Open Data Inventory (ODIN) evaluates open data policies, identifies shortcomings in official statistics, enhances the interaction between national statistical bodies and data users, and assesses the level of openness.
In this ranking, Uzbekistan has moved up 18 positions compared to 2023, when it scored 70 points and ranked 30th among 195 countries.
History of Uzbekistan's position in the Open Data Inventory (ODIN) ranking:
In 2017 – 167th place among 180 countries with 18 points;
In 2018 – 168th place among 178 countries with 19 points;
In 2020 – 44th place among 187 countries with 63 points;
In 2022 – 40th place among 192 countries with 66 points;
In 2023 – 30th place among 195 countries with 70 points.
