Uzbekistan’s Achievements in Digital Government Recognized at the UN Public Service Forum
On June 25, 2025, within the framework of the UN Public Service Forum, the "E-Government Recognition Session" was held. During this session, countries that have made significant achievements in the field of digital government on a global scale were recognized in various areas.
Uzbekistan was especially praised at the forum for its achievements in the development of digital government in recent years. In particular, the following successes were highly appreciated by international experts:
- Uzbekistan ensured its entry into the high group of the UN E-Government Development Index (EGDI);
- Significant progress has been made in the development of electronic platforms, such as my.gov.uz and tax services, due to investments in digital and information-communication technology infrastructure;
- Strong institutional leadership in this area;
- Focus on developing digital skills among the population, increasing the level of STEAM education, and enhancing digital literacy.
Additionally, the forum highlighted the achievements of several Asian countries that have made progress through artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the digitalization of small businesses.
Uzbekistan’s recognition on the international stage is a result of the reforms being carried out in the country in the field of digital transformation.
